Deanne Barnett

As a classroom teacher for sixteen years, I have watched as technology has changed and has become a necessary tool in the classroom. During my time teaching physical science, I have created and implemented lessons that encourage students to use technology as well as their creativity to make their learning memorable and applicable. As I teach, I feel it is my job to give my students tools that can be used in my classroom as well as other classes. I love the saying, “A good lesson is one that makes it to the dinner table,” and my hope is that by creating innovative lessons, my students are able to take their knowledge and get excited enough to share it with others.
