I have been in the field of education for thirty-seven years both as a special education teacher and as a technology integrator. I am a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. My interests outside of technology are creating stained glass art, landscape painting and spending quality time with my three grandchildren Abigail, Jacob, and Leah. As an Instructional Technology Integrator, I try to follow some very basic rules of life when working with teachers, students, and folks in general. I have a strong belief in people and I try to see them more capable than they believe themselves to be. I attempt never to be judgmental, my job is to find folks where they are and go from there. I endeavor to give them positive support and knowledge that I believe they are capable of anything they choose to do. It is important to remember as a technology integrator that I may have all the skills in the world when dealing with technology, but if I cannot share that information in a positive, supportive manner, it does me no good nor does it help the people I am working with.
