Unusual Thinking: Teaching Vocabulary Using Meaningful, Novel Activities
This presentation presents participants with new, surprising ways to teach vocabulary. Rooted in Robert Marzano's six steps to vocabulary acquisition, this educational experience takes participants way off the map to show them how they can teach vocabulary in ways that are new and exciting, both for them and their students.

The Next Great Director is using an iPhone
Cell phone technology has changed end-over-end since I first started making home videos in 1995. With recent advancements in cell phone camera abilities, entire productions are now being shot on smartphones (See: Tangerine).
